Skydiving carries real risk of serious injury or death. Everyone on the drop zone shares responsibility for keeping it safe. By using Jumpbase at [club name], I confirm that:
- I am responsible for my own safety and for not putting others at risk, on the ground and in the air.
- I will follow the drop zone rules, briefings and the instructions of manifest, instructors, pilots and the safety officer, as well as all applicable regulations.
- I will keep my own equipment well maintained and airworthy (including reserve repack, AAD servicing and any required inspections), and I will check any equipment I use before every jump. I will not jump equipment I am not sure is in working order.
- I will only jump within my licence, ratings and current experience, and I will tell staff about anything that affects my fitness to jump, such as injury, illness, medication, alcohol or fatigue.
- I will keep my details, licence and qualifications in Jumpbase accurate and up to date.
- I understand that Jumpbase is a scheduling tool. It does not replace briefings, gear checks, the judgement of drop zone staff or my own judgement.
