Terms of use
These terms apply to everyone who uses Jumpbase at [club name], the system the club uses for jump requests, the manifest, notifications and jump records.
1. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date, including your licence, ratings and emergency contact.
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; we recommend turning on two-step verification.
- New accounts are approved by the club. The club may suspend or close an account, for example when rules are broken or details are not kept up to date.
2. Requests and the manifest
- A jump request is a request, not a booking. The manifest decides who flies on which load, at what altitude and when.
- Departure times, loads and altitudes can change at short notice because of weather, aircraft or safety. Always follow the latest calls from manifest and staff on the drop zone.
- Notifications on your phone are a convenience. They can arrive late or not at all, so keep an eye on the manifest and the hangar screen.
3. Safety
The safety acknowledgement is part of these terms. Jumpbase is a scheduling tool: it does not replace briefings, gear checks, the instructions of drop zone staff or your own judgement.
4. Acceptable use
- Use Jumpbase only for its purpose at the drop zone.
- Do not access another person's account, try to get around security, or interfere with the system.
- Do not share the hangar screen code or other people's personal details outside the club.
5. Jump records
Jump records in Jumpbase are kept by the club. They do not replace your personal logbook or any record you are required to keep under the rules that apply to you.
6. Availability and liability
The club works to keep Jumpbase available and correct, but it may sometimes be unavailable or show out-of-date information. Operational decisions made on the drop zone always take priority over what the system shows. To the extent the law allows, the club is not liable for loss caused by the system being unavailable or by information in it being wrong. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes
When these terms change in a way that matters, you will be asked to read and accept them again the next time you open Jumpbase.
8. Contact and applicable law
